ME NARRATIVE

 W.A.L.T write a narrative.

I wrote this narrative this week, its about Dust trying to find her LONG LOST PARENTS! Though she found them in the end....

HERE IT IS, HOPE YOU LIKE IT:

 Mystery Dragon…

 It was a normal day like no other, Dust was wandering in the forest like normal. Until she heard a twig snack loud followed along with a fire crackling loudly and near by. Dust got a sudden stricken face filled with fear. Maybe it was just a hiker, but… no one normally goes to where Dust goes? Or maybe the tails where true that the people in shops that believe in big foot where ACTUALLY true! But that might have been just a dear, but the fire that she´d heard. What the heck was that?! Her curiosity got the better of her and she started walking toward the noise.

The fire was still crackling loudly when she got there. It was a small clearing in the moonlight. She suddenly stood rooted to the spot, when she saw the sight f a DRAGON!

It was still asleep so maybe she could sneeeeeeeaaaak past….EEEEEEKKKKKKKk!!!

It suddenly growled deeeeply as if the dragon was in a deeeep sleep… BUT NO!! It was NOT in a DEEEEEP sleep, It stood up with its mystical glittering rigged back shimmering in the moonlight. It then turned to face her, she stood there exited but bared not to squeal. She absolutely loved dragons! She read every fan fiction book about dragons saying that they were real and other people (of course other than her) that didn't believe the stories. BUT THEY COULDN'T SAY NOTHING NOW!!! ´Hello, there foul creature.´ The dragon said, ´witch realm are you from?´ ´I don't know what your talking about?´ I said back nervously. ´Unusual… My name is Wings, whats yours?´ Wings said, ignoring what she just said.´Dust, umm… not any unusual question buuuuuuutt…...just wondering if I could maybe…...um mm´ ´Spit it out!?´ ´Ummmm….CAN I RIDE YOUR BACK!!?!!!!!????!!!!!??

´Shore… but first lets go to sleep.´ Said Wings excitedly. ´OK...´ Dust said sadly. 

She lied down onto the newly found dragon, and fell into deep slumber…

She awoke to find that Wings 1 there….

THEN SHE FOUND HER LONG LOST PARENTS STANDING THERE SHOCKED TO SEE HER LIKE THAT!!!

Refugee experience

W.A.L.T Write a brief recount 

On Monday 10th of May we went to the Red zone and played out as a Refugee. We were all separated into our house colours, and I was in red house which really matched for the name of the place we were at. There were four zones to go to,the first zone my house colour went to was were we ate a pot full of hot boiling rice. The angry part about this was that it tasted bad, and they said it wouldnt be boiling hot BUT IT WAS!! Any way... The next station had three tarps laid onto the ground and we had make forts out of them to experience the refugee life. We separated into groups and hooked the holes of the tarp on to the branches that we could reach. They kept on falling and snapping off the branches that we had put them on.

So in the end I was going to live in a tree that had loads of holding spots.

  The next zone we went to was were we got into pairs and put on a blindfold and dodge the bean bags that the teacher threw at our feet, we made it to the end.     


                                                           

Limericks

I quite like it, its silly and the rhythm is nice as well with the Da DUM da da DUM da DUM  rhythm added to 

it.

There once was a silly singer 

One day she swallowed a figure

She went to the jungle 

Then got in a jumble

Then ran away from the picture

W.A.L.T Write an informative reports

  In Room two we have been researching and learning  about New Brighton Catholic School (NBC).We looked at time capsules, interviewed Ms Daines ( the principal), and went around the school to take notes. I enjoyed this because we found out a lot about our school.

What would you say in a report for your school?

There are 203 children at New Brighton Catholic School (NBC). NBC is near the beach. NBC is one of a hundred Catholic schools in Canterbury. The uniform is really smart, the girls have white shirts and a dress or calotts. The boys have all grey, grey shorts and top.

History: From recently discovered time capsules we know that the old principal was called Mr.Bradley and one of the old teachers was Mrs Branson. There used to be only two teachers and 64 students! The fort was still there in 1994! Euphraise Barbier and the lady of our missions founded NBC. The domain was always owned by the council.

                                                                                             

Our school cat Archie is the school cat that comes in everyone's rooms when he wants to. He wasn't aloud when he was a kitten,but when he got his collar he  was aloud.

Supplies: NBC has sandwiches handed out to students by students.Every kid in the school gets one or two! Last years NBC had milk but some people  didn't have milk because they didn't like the milk or weren't aloud the milk.NBC has spare clothes as well! NBC is also a duffy school, every year NBC gets one or two books and some in assembly for caught being good.

Everyone will think that NBC is the best school ever. Because it has learning supplies that are perfect and can sometimes support your options for things, like new schools.

W.A.L.T show our appreciation in a written letter.

We went to camp in week 3. We played a game of huckle buckle and had a lot of fun!

Dear Mr Gray,

Thank you for being there with us on every walk, it was the most challenging experience on the stairs at the Devils Punch bowl!

Without you we would get lost on every walk we did!
