ME NARRATIVE

 W.A.L.T write a narrative.

I wrote this narrative this week, its about Dust trying to find her LONG LOST PARENTS! Though she found them in the end....

HERE IT IS, HOPE YOU LIKE IT:

 Mystery Dragon…

 It was a normal day like no other, Dust was wandering in the forest like normal. Until she heard a twig snack loud followed along with a fire crackling loudly and near by. Dust got a sudden stricken face filled with fear. Maybe it was just a hiker, but… no one normally goes to where Dust goes? Or maybe the tails where true that the people in shops that believe in big foot where ACTUALLY true! But that might have been just a dear, but the fire that she´d heard. What the heck was that?! Her curiosity got the better of her and she started walking toward the noise.

The fire was still crackling loudly when she got there. It was a small clearing in the moonlight. She suddenly stood rooted to the spot, when she saw the sight f a DRAGON!

It was still asleep so maybe she could sneeeeeeeaaaak past….EEEEEEKKKKKKKk!!!

It suddenly growled deeeeply as if the dragon was in a deeeep sleep… BUT NO!! It was NOT in a DEEEEEP sleep, It stood up with its mystical glittering rigged back shimmering in the moonlight. It then turned to face her, she stood there exited but bared not to squeal. She absolutely loved dragons! She read every fan fiction book about dragons saying that they were real and other people (of course other than her) that didn't believe the stories. BUT THEY COULDN'T SAY NOTHING NOW!!! ´Hello, there foul creature.´ The dragon said, ´witch realm are you from?´ ´I don't know what your talking about?´ I said back nervously. ´Unusual… My name is Wings, whats yours?´ Wings said, ignoring what she just said.´Dust, umm… not any unusual question buuuuuuutt…...just wondering if I could maybe…...um mm´ ´Spit it out!?´ ´Ummmm….CAN I RIDE YOUR BACK!!?!!!!!????!!!!!??

´Shore… but first lets go to sleep.´ Said Wings excitedly. ´OK...´ Dust said sadly. 

She lied down onto the newly found dragon, and fell into deep slumber…

She awoke to find that Wings 1 there….

THEN SHE FOUND HER LONG LOST PARENTS STANDING THERE SHOCKED TO SEE HER LIKE THAT!!!

Stand Burnout

Introduction: 

Did you know that the there was such thing as the passenger pigeon?

It is one of the known extinct animals in north America, they where ate by huge amounts by humans all over the planet. But they were also killed because they where a threat to agriculture.

Whats the problem: 

Overhunting is a huge affect in the environment because of the climate change effect it can do to the world. It can deplete 5.8 percent of the Amazon rainforest.

They ate acorns and where an ecosystem engineer of North American forests for tens to thousands of years. Their large and dense flocks create forest disturbances and put regeneration cycles into motion.  

Math Question:(

 W.A.L.T Practice our maths knowledge.

I had this question in my head and I tried to figure it out. The very first thing I did to solve this question was to count how many cars there where in the image than I thought about the cars that where split into two, so I put them into half quarters then finished it of by writing it in my maths book.

Can you think of another way of figure it out? (P.S comment)

West African Drummers at our school! (EXITING!)

 W.A.L.T Reflect on our experiences.

On Tuesday the 26th of October, the WHOLE school went into the hall to see some African drumming. It was all SUPER DUPER cool, they first did a show of their drumming skills. They where atchally really good at doing their instruments, I forgot the names of them all but maybe you could guess? They even chose some of the school to use some of the African Drums they all brung  so that we could use some of them and do a competition on who could do drumming the fastest. I dident get to go up but is was still super fun to dance and to sing along. I thought that it was great how they let some of us use their drums! Also how they dont just preform at schools they also preform at loads of others!

Waste reflection

 W.A.L.T Reflect on our Waste.

On Friday the 21st of October, we did a class field trip to the Dump. We learned how glass was turned into roads as one of the ingredients and we ALL held a worm EACH then we did a circle of doing: placing worms into the dump then departing the soil and nutrition to the corner of the tub we all used. The next rotation was just as interesting too, we all watered the plants around the area and fed them with soil and grass. Then the last one was tearing and wetting news paper, then putting it in the compost for the worms to also eat.
